About the Event
Kabbalat Shabbat at Shirat HaYam is our monthly opportunity to pause, gather, and welcome Shabbat together as a community.
On the last Friday of each month, we come together for song, ritual and shared dinner — blending familiar traditions with openness, warmth and a spirit that speaks to modern Jewish life.
These gatherings are open, inclusive, and designed for families, individuals and guests of all ages.
What to Expect
- Kabbalat Shabbat with songs, candle lighting and Kiddush
- A warm, inclusive atmosphere for families, individuals and children of all ages
- A shared Shabbat dinner — each family is invited to bring a dish
- A chance to slow down, reconnect and strengthen our community, together
📋 Registration & Entry Fee
To help us prepare properly, advance registration is required. Please register your family using the form below.
To cover the basic costs of the event, we request a symbolic contribution of €10 per person.
Additional donations are welcome and help Shirat HaYam continue building an open, egalitarian and sustainable Jewish community in Cyprus.
