About the Event

Rosh Hashanah marks the beginning of the Jewish New Year—a time of renewal, hope and new beginnings. It is an opportunity to pause, reflect on the year that has passed, welcome the year ahead, and celebrate together as a community.

At Shirat HaYam, we invite you to experience a modern, musical and egalitarian Jewish celebration. Our services combine Jewish tradition with a contemporary spirit, featuring beautiful music, communal singing and active participation in a warm, welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere.

No previous knowledge or experience is needed. Whether this is your very first Rosh Hashanah service or a tradition you return to every year, you will feel at home. The services are conducted in both Hebrew and English, allowing everyone to participate, understand and connect.

This year, we are especially honoured to welcome Rabbi Professor Deborah Kahn-Harris, Principal of Leo Baeck College in the United Kingdom, who will lead our High Holy Day services and share inspiring teachings throughout the festival. The services will be accompanied by live music led by Gal, creating a moving and meaningful holiday experience.

Families with children, couples, individuals and visitors from around the world are all warmly invited to begin the New Year with us.
