Kabbalat Shabbat - December/Tevet

We are delighted to invite you to our second community Kabbalat Shabbat and to continue the new monthly tradition at Shirat HaYam.

After a beautiful first gathering, we’re excited to meet again on Friday, 26 December for another evening of song, connection and shared Shabbat dinner.

Each month, on the last Friday of the month, we will come together to welcome Shabbat – with familiar songs, new melodies, and traditions that speak to our modern lives.

📅 Time:The event will start at 19:00, and we kindly ask everyone to arrive by 18:30, so we can begin on time and settle in comfortably.

What to Expect

• Kabbalat Shabbat with songs, candle lighting and Kiddush

• Warm, inclusive atmosphere for all ages, families and individuals

• Shared Shabbat dinner – each family is invited to bring a dish

• A monthly pause to slow down, connect with others and help build our growing community

Registration

Registration is required so that we can plan properly, organize seating and ensure there is enough space for everyone.

Contribution

To help cover the basic costs of the event, we ask for a symbolic contribution of 10 EUR per person.

If you are able and wish to support Shirat HaYam further, you are very welcome to add an additional donation.Every contribution – small or large – helps us continue and expand our community activities throughout the year.
