About the event
Join us for a meaningful evening as we come together for Kabbalat Shabbat and celebrate the spirit of Shavuot.
We will begin with a warm and uplifting Kabbalat Shabbat service, welcoming Shabbat with music, prayer, and community. Following the service, we will continue with a Shavuot-inspired gathering, reflecting on tradition, learning, and connection.
Expect a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, with time to connect, share a festive meal, and celebrate together.

Please arrive by 18:30 so we can start on time and settle in comfortably.
What to Expect
Kabbalat Shabbat with songs, candle lighting and Kiddush
A Shavuot-inspired evening with learning, reflection and community connection
A warm, inclusive atmosphere for families, individuals and children of all ages
A shared Shabbat dinner - each family is invited to bring a dish
A chance to slow down, reconnect and strengthen our community, together

Contribution
To support the costs of hosting our Kabbalat Shabbat, we request a symbolic contribution of 10 EUR per person.
Additional donations are always welcome and help Shirat HaYam build a sustainable, inclusive Jewish community in Cyprus.

Entry ticket per person
To help us cover the basic costs of hosting our Monthly Kabbalat Shabbat, we are asking for a 10 EUR participation fee per person. If you wish to support Shirat HaYam further, you are warmly welcome to add an additional donation of any amount. Every contribution, big or small, helps us grow, create meaningful community events, and build a vibrant Jewish life in Cyprus.
